All five sizes of Etching presses are based on the 53 mm (21″) model press, but simply changes in width and not in design. The press features the same printing power capability as the floor standing models and are all double geared with a high ratio top roller drive. The top and bottom rollers are 127 mm (5″) diameter solid steel. The bed is 13 mm (1/2″) thick, stress relieved, flattened and ground steel plate. The side frames and hand wheel are manufactured from cast iron. All gears are fully guarded. Also available to suite the range of etching presses are purpose built stands, constructed from cast iron. They are designed to support the presses in the most rigid and safest possible way. The press is bolted directly to the stand. The stand is fitted with wooden shelves for storage of ink, paper, tools, etc.
